This project aimed to improve onsite kiosk navigation and event info access during the Autodesk University 2023 conference.
Background
During the 3-day Autodesk University conference, over 12,000 attendees navigated the sprawling Venetian Convention Center in Las Vegas to attend hundreds of sessions, keynotes, and events. The scale and complexity of the venue made clear, intuitive wayfinding essential to the attendee experience.
Problem
Despite offering mobile apps, printed maps, and signage, attendees struggled to quickly access real-time schedules and navigate the venue effectively. This revealed a need for a large, interactive kiosk that could surface essential event information in a more intuitive and immediate way.
I designed an interactive touchscreen kiosk that provided attendees with real-time session info, a searchable event map, and intuitive wayfinding tools. Strategically placed across the venue, these kiosks offered a seamless, self-service experience that reduced confusion and improved attendee flow.
